Terminal 2 is Korean Air's flagship — four KE lounges (First Class, Miler Club, Prestige Garden West, Prestige East Right) plus the Sky Hub West/East and Matina/Lounge L for PP. Terminal 1 — Foreign carriers + legacy Asiana hub
T1 is ICN's original international terminal, now serving foreign carriers (oneworld via Cathay/JAL/AA arrangement, Singapore Airlines, China Eastern) plus the legacy Asiana lounges. Korean Air maintains a single T1 lounge (reopened June 2019 in the former Asiana Lounge West footprint) as an outpost for SkyTeam transit passengers using T1. Priority Pass and DragonPass coverage comes via the Sky Hub and Matina contract lounges in the East Wing and Concourse A.

T2 opened in January 2018 as Korean Air's dedicated terminal and the SkyTeam home at ICN. KE operates four lounges here in a clear tier — First Class (top), Miler Club (Morning Calm Premium + Million Miler), Prestige Garden West (Gate 218), Prestige East Right (Gate 253, opened Aug 2025). Priority Pass coverage comes via Sky Hub West, Sky Hub East, Matina T2, and the walk-in Lounge L. The newer terminal has better food and shorter walks than T1.

How to get into lounges at ICN.
ICN lounge access splits cleanly between two terminals. Terminal 2 is Korean Air's domain with a tiered KE family (First → Miler Club → Prestige) plus three Priority Pass / paid options. Terminal 1 is foreign carriers + the legacy Asiana lounges (Star Alliance) plus contract PP/DragonPass coverage via Sky Hub and Matina. T1 and T2 are separated by a 15-minute shuttle ride — choose your lounge by terminal first.
Priority Pass
PP coverage at ICN runs through the Sky Hub and Matina contract lounges plus paid walk-in lounges (Lounge L, Matina T2). At T1: Sky Hub East Wing, Sky Hub Concourse A, Matina East Wing. At T2: Sky Hub West, Sky Hub East T2, Matina T2, Lounge L. PP does NOT cover Korean Air, Asiana, Cathay/JAL via oneworld Lounge, SilverKris, or China Eastern lounges.
DragonPass
Mirrors Priority Pass coverage at the Sky Hub and Matina contract lounges. Useful for Asian-bundled credit cards that carry DragonPass but not PP.
Korean Air SkyPass + SkyTeam
Korean Air's tiered lounge family at T2: KE Prestige Garden West / Prestige East Right (Prestige Class passengers + SkyTeam Elite Plus), KE Miler Club (Morning Calm Premium + Million Miler), KE First Class Lounge (First Class only). The T1 KE Lounge serves SkyTeam transit passengers using T1.
Asiana Club + Star Alliance
Asiana operates two T1 lounges post-KE-merger consolidation: Asiana Business Suite (4F near Gate 11, premium tier) and Incheon Airport Asiana Lounge (3F, standard tier). Access for OZ premium passengers and Star Alliance Gold on OZ flights. Star Alliance Gold on other carriers should use the SilverKris Lounge on SQ flights.
oneworld Status
The oneworld Lounge at T1 Gate 28 (4F, 555 sqm) is ICN's official oneworld facility. Open to oneworld Sapphire and Emerald on any eligible oneworld carrier (Cathay, JAL, AA, BA, Qatar, Finnair, etc.). Opened to replace individual airline lounges — a shared alliance facility.
Walk-in Day Pass
Lounge L (T2 west wing, Gate 231 4F), Matina T2 (Gate 252 4F), Sky Hub T2 (paid walk-in tier), and several T1 contract lounges sell walk-in passes. Typical rate 45,000–55,000 KRW (~US$32–40). Credit cards accepted.
Free Alternatives
ICN has free public seating with USB charging at every gate cluster, plus 'transit rest zones' on Level 4 of both terminals with reclining seats. Free Incheon Airport Wi-Fi is unlimited (just connect to the SSID). No common-use free lounges, but the airport's public rest infrastructure is genuinely strong.
Know before you go.
Timing & Crowds
- —ICN peaks 7am–9am and 7pm–10pm for departures (KE/OZ long-haul morning and evening banks). T2 Korean Air lounges are heavily congested in those windows. Off-peak afternoons (1pm–4pm) are genuinely calm.
- —Sky Hub T2 West is busier than Sky Hub T2 East — walking 5 extra minutes to the East lounge usually drops crowding 30%+.
- —KE First Class Lounge tracks first-class departure timing (mostly evening long-haul). Quieter mornings if you have access.
Maximising Priority Pass at ICN
- —T1 PP options (Sky Hub East/Concourse A + Matina East Wing) are more crowded than T2's. If you have schedule flexibility and you're connecting, time your meal at T2.
- —Matina East Wing (T1) is the underrated PP pick — quieter and more work-friendly than Sky Hub next door.
- —PP and DragonPass cover the same lounges at ICN — either works at all Sky Hub and Matina locations.
Terminal Navigation
- —T1 and T2 are not connected airside. Free shuttle bus runs every 5 minutes — landside ride is ~15 minutes, you re-clear security on the other side. Allow 45+ minutes for inter-terminal transfers.
- —Concourse A is T1's separate satellite — connected by underground shuttle train. From T1 main building, allow 10–15 minutes to Concourse A lounges (Sky Hub Concourse A, China Eastern).
- —KE check-in is T2 only. OZ historically T1, now transitioning post-merger — verify your terminal before security.
Korean Cuisine in Lounges
- —KE Prestige Garden West has the Korean hanok aesthetic with traditional hot-stone bibimbap and Korean rice cake snacks — most distinctive food in any KE T2 lounge.
- —Sky Hub T2 West serves Korean staples — bibimbap, hot ramyeon, kimchi pancakes — at PP/DragonPass access. The best Korean food in a PP lounge at ICN.
- —Lounge L (T2 walk-in) has the most varied buffet — Korean and Western mains, plus a noodle station. Worth the 50,000 KRW walk-in if you have time to use it.
